In 2009 the site at 140 Fitzmaurice Street was once again filled with the aroma of coffee and delicious food as it was transferred back into a place for people to meet and eat by a local farmer and his wife. Five years on, Uneke Lounge is still a family owned and operated business. Uneke Lounge is a fully licensed establishment and offers breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, and dinner Friday and Saturday evenings.
The building's high ceilings, exposed brick and historical architecture create a relaxed and contemporary atmosphere. Uneke lounge is the perfect place to meet a friend or colleague for lunch, relax with a book and a good cup of coffee or dine in for dinner. Make sure to have a browse in the adjoining shop - Uneke Homewares before you leave. There is a large range of clothing, jewellery, furniture and gifts.
