Doctor To Your Door is an after hours home visit service operating in the Townsville Area. We have doctors on the road that come to you-in the comfort of your own home. Our service is bulk billed, so as long as you have a Medicare Card its free!

Everyday of the year your home doctor is available for Home visits
Calls taken for visits 2 hours prior to opening times. Mon to Fri: 6pm till 8am Saturdays: From 12pm Sun & Public Holidays 24 hrs.

How long will it take for the doctor to arrive?

We aim to get a Doctor to your home as soon as possible, but it does depend on the amount of enquiries on the day. The doctor would normally see you anytime from when you make the call up to 4 hours.
What do I need to do in preparation for the doctor?

Please have your Medicare card ready, restrain any loose pets on the property and leave a light on outside the front of your home.
How much does the service cost?

The service is free Medicare bulkbilled from 8am until Midnight. Charges apply only after midnight until 8am of $400 per consult.
Are you available weekends and public holidays?

Yes, we are available Saturday: From 12pm Sunday and Public Holidays 24 hours.
What happens once I have seen the doctor - what do you do with my personal information?

Clinical report is issued to your regular GP if you request.
What charities do you work with?

Donations from our profits go towards funding various local charities such as The Fred Hollows Foundation. In the future, we would like to set up a foundation to fund a clinic in East Timor or another developing country and to continue donating to and sponsoring local charities.
What areas do you service?

Newcastle including Maitland, Raymond Terrace, Stockton & Townsville including Rangewood and Rupertswood.
