Daniel Lamb has over 20 years of experience in engineering, forest harvesting, earthmoving, Mining and heavy diesel mechanical repairs in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia.
Recently Ausweld Lineboring have been travelling Australia wide to perform lineboring jobs within the mining and earthmoving industries, travelling to various locations including the Olympic Dam site in SA, Silver mining project near Cobar N.W, the Moomba gas and oil fields in SA and regularly servicing mine sites in the Mildura region and Western Victoria.
A fully equipped 4×4 mobile service vehicle is available to provide an on-site service at the job site or at your workshop. The service vehicle is equipped with an engine driven mig, tig and arc welder plus all the latest lineboring machining and bore welding technology ready for on-site maintenance.

Lineboring is the process of machining internal bores in situ or attaching the boring machine to the job.
Borewelding is an automated process that uses GMAW to overlay weld the internal diameter of the bore prior to lieboring.
The bore sizes are only limited by the tooling and hosepower required to drive to cutting tool, but the most common sizes are 35mm up to 400mm.
The Lineboring equipment that Ausweld Lineboring use is very portable and can be taken to any workshop or job site that is required.

Yes the borewelding and Lineboring process will be as good if not better than oem specs due to being able to machine bore sizes individually to allow for tolerances in pin and bearing manufacturing and will also visually appear new with no holes or blemishes in the bore surface.
Yes Ausweld lineboring has various attachments for machining in the most difficult spots.
Yes we are equipped with a facing tool that will machine bore faces true to the bore centres.
